Why are you invited to take part in this study?
The risk of developing colon cancer increases with age. That's why all people aged from 50 years on are invited to undergo screening. Screening makes it possible to detect cancer early, even if the person has no symptoms. If a cancer is found early, it can be treated more easily.
How can screening be improved?
Your canton offers two screening methods: colonoscopy and the FIT test. It's important for people choose the screening test that is best for them. That's why we've created a new information brochure. We want to know how it helps people make the right choice.
